He is known as an animator, storyboard artist and voice actor on Mondo Media’s Dick Figures. John was an Animation Director for the Emmy Award winning series COSMOS: A Spacetime Odyssey and has worked on several other series including the Disney+ series DuckTales, and Legend of the Three Caballeros.

Tim Burgard has worked in TV and feature film with the industry's top filmmakers on blockbuster films such as; Terminator 2, Thor, Rise of the Apes, Jurassic World, Geostorm, Fantastic Four, and Independence Day: Resurgence & The Revenant to name a few.
