    Hey! So this is the first time i’m posting here. This was a hw assignment for our first class but I just need some critique on it.

    Hi ,Charlene! I can see the image just fine and really adore the storytelling. It reminds me so much of doing exactly this when I would watch cartoons on the floor as a kid. The story is very easy to follow given your shot choice, but I’m a little lost when we start to show what looks like her shoes. It very clear what’s going on up to that point.

    If you really want to push your storytelling I would encourage you to consider balancing shot choice. You have a nice tight shot of her face looking up at the TV then back down at her paper. Earlier on there’s a wide shot of her laying down with her legs bent. Whenever we see the TV however it’s the same straight on shot. Perhaps you could substitute a extreme wide shot showing the room she’s in to develop her setting more. That’s just one example.

    Again I really like the story. Would love to see an update.
