Wow thanks for posting. The boards are coming along and looking really awesome. It’s nice to see a mov file to have the drawings cut together like that.
A couple of things stick out for me. I like your treatment of the boards with the grey tones, but sometimes your background competes with the FG character. You may want to lighten or blur the background out slightly. I am also not clear about the space. It has some cool archways and decoration, but I think I’m missing a wide establishing shot to highlight the space and the distance between characters. It never hurts to add a wide establishing shot. you can always cut it out if you dont like it.
You may want to add a few more frames on the camera moves to make that really clear as well. I get the idea of the push in on the mirror, but If I hadn’t seen it before, I might get confused. Remember to keep those background and staging elements pointing toward the focal point in the shot. Dont let it flatten things out, but add to the focus of the shot.
Opps, you also flop screen direction when you do the reverse shot at the end. Keep Superman on the left and Lois on the right, even in the reverse shot. Try it and see how it will cut better.
